This is the note I got from the person trying to find this Curly a home.  Please don't blast her since it is not her horse.  She took it in to try and give him more time.  I'm seeing more and more of these come in to CHR.  Please help if you can, even if it's just a saving point for this horse.  Lisa

~~His name is DE Gaha ABC# 2644, AMBA# FMR0253, foaled May 2, 1999, 14.2hh, extreme curly. Owner is taking him to auction on Sept 10th, I have talked them into letting him go for free to a good home through CHR. I believe he needs a chiropractor to adjust his back right behind his withers. He rides ok, but I think he will do better one he is adjusted. Neck reins ok, has not had a great deal of saddle time. Is herd sour and does not do well alone, can be skittish but has a natural sweet nature. He is in good health at this time but does need a trim. Coggins, health cert and transfer of papers must be covered by the person getting him as the owner will not pay for that. He is currently at my place and I am handling everything in regard to him, I can be reached at Carrie 423-442-6368. Barn name is George and he is really a nice horse but has been neglected for a long time. He has the potential to be a wonderful riding horse.

I am sorry I am so late in replying here.    The program did not notify me of the post.  grrrrr

The standard that would be used for the smooth coats would be the same as the curly coat. 

Unfortunately it is going to take some of these judges time to get used to the curly coated and smooth coated Curlys.  Most of them probably haven't even heard of the Curlys. 

Don't give up hope tho.  Keeping showing Flashie and everyone will start seeing what a great guy he is.   

Did you get any pictures of you guys in the show I would love to see them.
